Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi is the perfect place for a day out with familiy and friends. Located in Kaliurang, Sleman Regency.
Enjoy the nice layout of the park, with several trails and have a look at the waterfall. It is even possible to view Mount Merapi, although this is quite a walk through a rather steep trail. At the end of the trail you will find a watch tower and by clear skies you may have a wonderful view on Mount Merapi.
In some parts of the park you may encounter some monkeys. Don’t feed them and watch your belongings.
