Gunung Kendil (Mount Kendil) is one of the interesting natural tourist destinations in Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta.
This mountain has a height of around 1,019 meters above sea level and is one of the highest peaks in the Menoreh Mountains. From the top of Mount Kendil, visitors can enjoy a 180 degree panorama in all directions, from Mount Sumbing in the north to the green expanse of the Menoreh Hills in the south and west. Mount Kendil also offers beautiful sunrise moments and a cool, refreshing atmosphere. The climbing route is quite easy and not too steep, suitable for beginners or families.
