Pantai Parangkusumo (Parangkusumo Beach) is one of the tourist attractions in Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta which is famous for its mystical legends.
This beach is considered the gateway to the Magic Palace of the South Sea, the kingdom of Nyi Roro Kidul, ruler of the south coast. Parangkusumo Beach offers a beautiful panorama with sand dunes and crashing sea waves. This beach is also the location of the labuhan alit ritual carried out by the Yogyakarta Palace every year.
Parangkusumo Beach is within walking distance (a few hundred meters) away from Parangtritis Beach and about 5 km from Pantai Depok.
