Stasiun Yogyakarta

Stasiun Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Station), also known as Tugu Station, is the main railway station located in the center of Yogyakarta, Central Java.

It is one of the oldest and busiest stations in the country. The station was built in 1887 by the Dutch colonial government as part of the railway network connecting Java’s major cities. The station’s architecture reflects the Javanese and European influences, with a distinctive pendopo-style roof and a clock tower. The station is also a cultural and historical landmark.

Today, the station offers various services and facilities for travelers, such as ticket counters, waiting rooms, restaurants, souvenir shops, and a museum. From this station there is a daily timetable to the new NYA airport.
