Sabo Bronggang Argomulyo is located in Sleman Regency, and better known by locals as Watu Gede, is one of those places that immediately makes you stop and stare.
This sabodam isn’t just big, it’s enormous. Standing in front of it, you really feel the scale: a massive wall of stone built to hold back the power of the lahar flows of Mount Merapi. The area around it is open and quiet, with the sound of the river below and the Mount Merapi watching from a distance. People often come here to take photos or just enjoy the raw, rugged landscape.
