Goa Jepang No. 5 is a compact, rectangular firing outpost measuring 2.6 by 2.2 meters, bordered by Bunker 6 to its southwest and Bunker 7 to its south.
Built directly into the mountain slope, it functioned as a frontline reconnaissance and light machine-gun nest to provide a clear line of sight over the deep lowlands and valley below.
Inside the structure, you will find a smooth plastered cement floor, a ventilation shaft cut into the northeast ceiling, and a built-in concrete equipment table resting against the back wall.
