Bekas Stasiun Palbapang is a modest yet officially recognized heritage site in Bantul Regency.
The station once served local passengers and traders during the late colonial era until the line was discontinued in the 1960s. Although only fragments remain, sections of the old platform, foundations, and traces of the former rail yard, the site preserves the memory of a period when trains connected rural Bantul with the wider region.
Stasiun Palbapang was once part of the historic Yogyakarta-Srandakan-Sewugalur railway line.
