Sleman Regency

Sleman Regency is a district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This district borders Yogyakarta to the south, Magelang Regency and Klaten Regency (Central Java Province) to the northwest and northeast. This district has an area of 574.82 km2 and a population of 1,147,562 people (in 2022). The capital city is Kapanewon Sleman, which is located on the road between Yogyakarta and Magelang. This district has five villages, namely Caturharjo, Pandowoharjo, Tridadi, Triharjo, and Trimulyo. This district also has a number of historical temples, such as Candi Kalasan and Candi Prambanan.
