Struktur Cagar Budaya Dam Kamijoro

Ngantru Dam Kamijoro, also known as the Dam Imtek Kamijoro, was built in 1924 during the Dutch colonial period.

This European-style technical marvel was conceived by the famous Schmutzer family to power their sugar factory, Pabrik Gula Bambanglipuro (Gondang Lipuro Sugar Factory).

Today, this official Cultural Heritage site isn’t just a history lesson, it’s an engineering masterpiece that still works perfectly. It channels water to Dam Makam Bulan and through 69 kilometers of canals, keeping local rice fields green.

It is the perfect spot for a quick history detour before you head over to the modern bridge Jembatan Plambongan for sunset!

Facilities: Free entrance, Food stalls, Parking (free)
