Jembatan Sesek Ngringin is a wooden and bamboo structure built across the Progo River during the dry season, when the river has a low water level.
During the rainy season, the river water level can rise, compromising the safety of this wooden bridge. The bridge may sometimes be closed or even temporarily demolished. Pay close attention to the signs before crossing the bridge and choose an alternative route if necessary.
The bridge was built by people from the surrounding villages and saves people who use the bridge to cross the river a lot of travel time.
Only mopeds, bicycles, and pedestrians are allowed to use this bridge, for a small fee.
