Pantai Congot (Congot Beach) is one of the tourist destinations in Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, which offers the typical feel of a fishing beach. On this beach, you can watch the activities of fishermen fishing, selling or cleaning their boats. You can also go fishing on the beach or at the mouth of the Bogowonto River which flows into Congot Beach. Additionally, you can enjoy the beautiful view as the sun sets over the horizon. Congot Beach is about 15 km from Wates and 45 km from Yogyakarta and easy to reach by motor vehicle. From Congot Beach you can also easily reach Glagah Beach via the coastal road, a drive of approximately 5 km.
