Gua Maria Sendangsono (Sendangsono Maria Cave) is a Maria Cave pilgrimage site located in Banjaroyo Village, Kalibawang District, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This place has high spiritual value because of the spring which is believed to cure illnesses and the legend about Dewi Lantamsari and her son. Sendangsono Maria Cave has Javanese and environmentally friendly architecture, which received an award from the Indonesian Architects Association in 1991. This place is a destination for pilgrims from all over Indonesia, especially in May and October.
