Pemecah Ombak Pantai Glagah (Glagah Beach wave breaker), located in Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, is one of the facilities built to protect the coastline from erosion due to sea waves. This wave breaker is shaped like a concrete wall that juts out into the sea for several meters. The function of a wave breaker is to reduce wave energy reaching the coast, thereby reducing the impact of abrasion. Apart from that, wave breakers can also increase the aesthetic and tourist value of Glagah Beach and Glagah Lagoon. It is a popular spot for fishing and taking selfies.
