Embung Tonogoro (Tonogoro Reservoir) is a small reservoir located in Banjaroyo Village, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This reservoir was built in 2014 as a means of irrigation for local residents’ agricultural land. Tonogoro Embung is also an attractive tourist destination because it is located in the Menoreh hills area which has beautiful views. From here, visitors can see the city of Magelang, the city of Yogyakarta and Mount Merapi. Embung Tonogoro is also surrounded by orchards of super premium quality fruit, such as musang king durian, bawor durian, kendil avocado and alligator avocado.
