Pantai Baron (Baron Beach) is a tourist attraction in the form of a beach located in Kemadang Village, Gunung Kidul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This beach is about 40 km from the city center of Yogyakarta and directly borders the Indian Sea. Baron Beach has stunning natural views with white and fine sand, two large corals typical of Gunung Kidul, and an underground river that flows towards the sea with fresh water. Baron Beach offers various facilities and activities for visitors, such as a fish auction, children’s play rides, motorized boats, souvenir shops, food stalls, and a sea alms ceremony which is held every year by the local community.
